Dress me in your finest

The brief was simple; design something 'useful' for an entrance space.

When I designed 'Dress me in your finest', I thought about things like. what do you hold in your hand when you come through the door at home? Keys? Hand bag? Scarf? Har? Mail? Shoes? I designed the piece with the thought of creating some sort of 'drop-off station' . Simplicity with a twist, was what drove the aesthetic of the design.

Timber species used were Victorian Ash and Papua New Guinea Rosewood.
